It would seem like everyone’s looking to buy an ATV these days, but just how does one go about getting an ATV from a dealer that is reliable, trustworthy and most importantly, one who is able to provide great after sales service? With the amount of ATV dealers out there, how are you going to decide which one would be the ATV dealer to buy your ATV from?
Some of the aspects that you should be looking out for when searching for the right ATV dealer is their reputation – a reliable ATV dealer would have a good reputation. Their products come with warranty and yes, even the parts are available as and when you need them, unlike some ATV dealers who claim to have the parts but in actual fact, they only arrange to order the parts when you need them and not have the ATV parts physically in their stores. The cost of ATVs also plays an important factor when you are making your choice of ATV to buy. Unless you have a bank account that is really fat, it would be quite wise to buy off brand ATVs instead of branded ones – there are some pretty neat ATVs out there that are not “branded” but they are just as good as the top of the line ATVs that you hear about. It’s true that there are some unscrupulous ATV dealers out there may make claims but are not able to fulfill their promises. So, you have to be really careful when dealing with ATV dealers who make “big” claims about their machines.

Your son practically “crashed” through the entrance of your home announcing that he needs parts for his Chinese Kid ATV and you are caught off guard – you didn’t think that you’d need to (well, at least not so soon) replace any part of the Chinese Kid ATV that you bought for your son. But, kids are kids – when they get behind those ATV wheels, they seem to think that they are “kings of the road” and they are not particularly gentle with their Kid ATVs either. So, when your son comes crashing into the house announcing to you that his Chinese Kid ATV needs some fixing up, what do you do? Well, I guess the most sensible thing to do would be to call up the ATV store that you bought his Chinese Kid ATV from and ask for the parts – IF it’s only that easy.
You see, most Chinese Kid ATV dealers only sell their ATVs but rarely do they keep the ATV parts available in their stores – even if they tell you that they will have the parts available, they usually only place order for them when you need them. And if you have already tried calling the ATV store and the answer you got from them was “We are sorry, but you will have to wait at least 3 months before the parts arrive” – it sure is not the kind of statement that you’d like to hear, but don’t panic just yet. There’s still another place that you can go to for your son’s Chinese Kid ATV parts.

In our industry, it’s important to be in the know about what consumers want and what they feel about ATV as a sport. And we make it a point to make a few rounds a month talking and dealing with ATV sales people and shop owners. Many more people have decided to take up ATV as a recreational sport and ATV riding has become an extremely popular family activity and we noticed that the demand for used ATV parts have also increased. It’s logical.
Many of the shop owners that we talked to during those rounds expressed an interesting increase in sale of their used ATV parts. Used ATV parts sold in the market are usually of very good quality because some of these used ATV parts come from brand new ATVs. Some local racers and Pro ATV racers like to take their machines apart and modify it with used ATV parts to make their ATVs more powerful. Hence, the left over ATV parts are sold off as used ATV parts.
