Taking up ATV riding as a hobby can be expensive…or affordable, depending on how particular you are about the ATV model that you want to own. If you want a new, latest release ATV model from a popular ATV manufacturer, you have to be ready to pay the price for it! However, this does not mean that people with a budget cannot take up ATV as a hobby. We’ll let you in on a secret…many of us own used ATVs! We’re not being stingy or putting our lives at risk by using used ATVs but some of us own more than one ATV and use different ATVs for different types of rides. And some of us have the inclination for giving used ATVs facelifts! It’d be crazy for us to turning our garage into a science lab using our brand new ATVs, so, we use used ATVs instead.
Many people have asked us if it was safe to use used ATVs and we’ve always answered the same way…it is safe to use used ATVs granted someone (yourself or someone else) have gone through the used ATV and replaced worn out parts before even consider swinging a leg over it! Some of us buy our ATVs online and we understand that buying used ATVs online is really tough. You don’t know the condition of the used ATV, can’t give the used ATV a spin, and cannot touch or ’shake’ the used ATV up a little to see if the handlebars would fall off or not. I mean, pictures DO tell a thousand words but it doesn’t tell you whether a used ATV is safe to ride or not.

With the ever growing of popularity of the Chinese ATVs in the market, it is not surprising that one is able to save thousands of dollars buying ATVs these days. The prices of ATVs used to be rather expensive – so much so that it seems like only the rich can afford to get their own ATVs back then. But now, with Chinese ATVs, or off brand ATVs, just about anyone who loves the thrills and excitement of ATV riding can now have their very own ATVs.
This is not to say that it is a bad thing to buy “branded” ATVs (by all means, if you can afford one, go ahead and get it), but why would you want to pay more for your ATVs when you can get the same quality of ATVs at a fraction of the cost of a “branded” ATV? Is it worth it to cough out thousands more just for the sake of the brand name of the ATV? If you happen to have a big family and each person in your family wants to have their own ATV, your bank account has to be really “fat” in order to get those “branded” ATVs for each of them!

Is it really safe to buy something over at ebay? To some, it is, but others may have something else to say about buying stuffs over ebay. There have been instances where genuine buyers were ripped off buy scams and “fake” sellers over ebay. If you are buying a small item over ebay, it could be a genuine transaction, but if you intend to buy a large and expensive item over ebay, let’s say, an ATV, we would suggest that you be extra cautious when dealing with people who claim to be “ATV dealers” or manufacturers. To be really honest, some of them are probably individuals looking for “potential clients” just to rip them off.
Hence, you may be asking, “Is there some other way that one can buy an ATV without being ripped off?” – well, if you are looking for an alternative to buying an ATV other than from ebay motor powersports section, Jackel Motorsports (you can visit our website at http://www.jackel.com) is definitely a trusted alternative, compared to the unknown sellers that you may find on ebay or those without a proven track record of their “ATV dealings”.

There are two sides to modifying an ATV.
