ATVs (all-terrain vehicles, quads) are vehicles equipped with straddle-type seats, handlebars and low-pressure tires. Most of ATVs have four wheels, but there are also six-wheeled models. They are meant for wider variety of terrains than other vehicles are. Due to their light footprint and speed, they are used in agriculture as well. Since these vehicles have become popular, there are many ATVs for sale available. What is more, even ATV sport competitions are organized. The most recognizable competitions are ATV National Motocross Championship and Championship Mud Racing.
ATV National Motocross Championship
Since the number of new and used ATVs for sale was growing and many people started working, playing and even racing on ATVs, National Motocross Championship was established. This sport competition takes place countrywide since 1985 and comprises a few racing groups that include both professional and amateur racers. It is estimated that each time about 500 racers compete with one another. All of them fight for Grand National Champion Prize. The championship lasts for three days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Fridays, practice and amateur racing are held. Saturday is for Pro Am Unlimited Classes and of Pro Am Women. On Sundays you can watch races of the Pro and Pro Am Production ATVs.
